Arts


1. All Entries must meet A.C.E. standards.

2. Artwork must be ready to hang with proper hangers, proper matting or framing, etc.

3. Entries must not exceed 40 pounds in weight or exceed more than three feet (length, width, or height).


4. Entries from men and women are judged together in all Art categories.

5. All entries must be done in realistic style without using abstract or surrealism.

6. Do not accept color-by-number paintings.

7. Use the progress control forms to help break ties. Exhibits

1. Contestant or contestants may enter one exhibit in each event.


2. Make sure each entry is fully completed and ready for exhibition.


3. If any work in the display is not the work of the contestant, make sure a list is submitted identifying such work (such as a specially machined component or electronic test equipment). Experiment notebooks and other supporting data should be available for the judges. Make sure any photos that include people adhere to contestant dress standards.


4. Make sure the entry complies with the size limitations—no more than four feet wide or thirty inches deep.


5. Make sure electrical power (120 volt AC) is available for any entry requiring power. All switches and cords must be U.L. or C.S.A. approved. The exhibit must be wired in a safe manner.


6. Do not allow any entry that creates a safety hazard. Dangerous chemicals; offensive odors; explosives; open flames; or live animals, reptiles, or insects must not be exhibited. Exhibits requiring running water are not permitted.


7. Contestant or contestants will set up their exhibit and then leave the area.


8. A.C.E. is not responsible for loss of or damage to any exhibit.
